New show: "Unearthed Treasures" on Thursdays @ 1 P

Postby jmmallon » Mon Jun 16, 2008 5:23 pm

Delicious Agony presents a new show dedicated to the hidden corners of progressive rock - those obscure bands who released one or two albums, then disappeared! We'll be taking your requests via the forum, so let us know what unheralded prog you'd like to hear. Unearthed Treasures begins Thursdays @ 1PM Eastern Time. Join us!

If you have some BACHDENKEL the album "Lemmings" I saw them live in Grenoble in 1974 that was great , that should be cool for people who don't know them

I always liked "Lady June's Linguistic Leprosy" as a one-time, off-the-wall project (she managed to get Kevin Ayres & Brian Eno into the backup band). Also "Victor" by Manuel Rigoni & Richard Shoenherz was an astounding blend of alternating rock & orchestral pieces, especially in the first half of the album. "Angel Dust" by Gabriel Bondage. L'Araignee Mal by Atoll; some wonderful guitar work by Christian Beya.

I'm afraid we have only the Atoll from that list, and I played some last week. Please suggest more things, though, and be sure to tune in!

Have you some ROUGH DIAMOND, with the Uriah Heep's singer David Byron, (died since many years) and that was awesome
