Question: NON-PROGRESSIVE SPOTLIGHTS.

Postby ProgScape » Sat Dec 20, 2008 3:16 pm

Hey all,

Although DA is a "prog" station, would anyone know/care if I started spotlighting albums of the week that were not progressive? Perhaps 80's alternative rock, more electronic music, or just various other discs from my collection that I think are worthy of being spotlighted.

Depending on the responce (or lack of), I may decide to start doing this...

Thoughts?

Hey, I'd love to hear more electronic music, as I have always felt that a great band like Tangerine Dream often straddled the line between electronic and progressive.
I have always tried to keep an open mind when it comes to new music; you never know when you will hear a nice piece of music from a source you wouldn't normally be listening to, so I say...go for it.

GKT,

That's never a problem. I love to play electronic music. My fear is that people who listen to the show might not 'get it' so I keep the EM to a mininum. I can most certainly play and spotlight more EM! Thanks for the feedback, and I hope you catch my show!
