This week's Michael's Sonic Kaleidoscope features one of the most exciting groups in today's progressive rock/metal scene: District 97, the set-list includes music by artists that have had an influence on the group, selections from their 2010 debut album "Hybrid Child" and from their performance at last year's Calprog and an exclusive interview with drummer and founding member Jonathan Schang, in which he shared some insights into District 97's music, Progressive Rock, their current tour with Agents of Mercy, their upcoming performance at the Rites of Spring Festival (http://www.district97.net/shows.html) and much more.

In the words of Bill Bruford (Yes, King Crimson, Bruford, UK): I love the CD...the sheer skill and gusto with which they tackle it makes you laugh out loud. Great drumming. Jonathan plays and writes like a demon. Congratulations to them.
