Well, looking through my admittedly small prog collection,
1998 looks like it would be a good year to feature. Dream Theater, Rush, and Fates Warning all released excellent live albums. Liquid Tension Experiment and Platypus both released their first albums. Marillion's underrated
Radiation was released. Also, Chroma Key's
Dead Air for Radios was released.
I think that's it from my collection, but I'm sure you could add a lot of great stuff to that list.
Also, my favourite album ever, DT's
Awake, was released in
1994. I would be interested to see how other stuff from that year sounds. Similarly,
Images and Words seems to be one of the (if not THE) "benchmark" albums in progressive metal, so
1992 might be an interesting year as well.
Whatever you decide to do, I hope I will be able to continue catching this show.
